Provides that a business proposing to construct an electric generating facility need not include certain documentation in its application for financial assistance or file certain monthly reports if it provides a bond to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs that is equal to the projected State occupation and use taxes during the 4 preceding calendar quarters. Effective immediately.State Debt Impact Note (Economic and Fiscal Commission) HB 2867 would not change the amount of authorization for any type of State-issued or State-supported bond, and, therefore, would not affect the level of State indebtedness.
