Eliminates the reduction in annuity that applies to a surviving spouse who is more than 5 years younger than the deceased member. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>Pension Note (Pension Laws Commission)</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>The fiscal impact of HB 2300 has not been calculated.  There would be a fiscal impact, as HB 2300 would grant higher survivor's annuities to certain surviving spouses. </SynopsisText></synopsis>
