Provides that upon request of the veteran or a designee of the veteran, the record of the form shall be expunged from the court record and replaced with a form containing only the name of the veteran, his or her date of discharge from military service, and the date of the issuance of the discharge form.House Amendment No. 1 Deletes reference to:705 ILCS 105/16Adds reference to:55 ILCS 5/3-5036from Ch. 34, par. 3-5036Deletes everything. Amends the Counties Code. Provides that a certificate of military discharge or release from active duty (DD 214) or MEMBER-4 copy of certificate of discharge or release from active duty issued by the United States government and filed with the recorder is not a public record and is not subject to public inspection.
