Allows a county correctional officer to establish credit for periods spent as an officer or employee of a labor organization that represents employees without paying the employer contributions if application is made on or after July 1, 2003 and before July 1, 2004. <SynopsisText>The fiscal impact of HB 1361 has not been calculated, but is estimated to be minor, as the window period eliminates the currently required employer contributions (and interest on those contributions) only if the application to purchase the service credit is received by the Fund between July 1, 2003 and July 1, 2004.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
