<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>70 ILCS 705/8.20</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Fire Protection District Act. Provides that a fire protection district may not enforce an open burning ordinance (i) within the City of Chicago, (ii) within the boundaries of a farm that consists of more than 50 acres, and (iii) in a forest preserve district if the district personnel perform the open burning. Deletes the provision that a fire protection district may not enforce an open burning ordinance within the corporate limits of a county with a population of 3,000,000 or more or a municipality with a population of 1,000,000 or more.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Amendment No. 1</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>Provides that a fire protection district may not enforce an ordinance adopted by the board of trustees of the district requiring the district be notified of open burning to be done within the district if the burning is performed by or under the direction of forest preserve district personnel.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
