Transfers the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program from the Department on Aging to the Attorney General. Amends the Illinois Act on the Aging to make conforming changes.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>Fiscal Note (Department on Aging)</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>The fiscal impact of HB 1207 will be a $2,600,000/year loss of funds to the Aging Network.  In addition, there will be significant start-up costs for the Office of the Attorney General to take over this federally mandated program. </SynopsisText></synopsis>
