Provides that on and after that date all rights, powers, duties, and responsibilities vested by law in and exercised and performed by the regional superintendent and by any assistant regional superintendents or other assistants or employees in the office of the regional superintendent shall be vested in, exercised, and performed by the State Board of Education through the office of the State Superintendent of Education.House Amendment No. 2 Deletes everything after the enacting clause.
