| 5 | | "Section 5. The Pharmacy Practice Act is amended by adding |
| 6 | | Section 45 as follows:

| 7 | | (225 ILCS 85/45 new) |
| 8 | | Sec. 45. Pharmaceutical recall notice sign-up. Every |
| 9 | | pharmacy licensed in this State shall post in a conspicuous |
| 10 | | place near the pharmacy counter and drive-up window, a sign |
| 11 | | that includes a QR code informing patients of the ability to |
| 12 | | sign up for medication recalls via the United States Food and |
| 13 | | Drug Administration website. The Department may adopt rules |
| 14 | | necessary to implement this Section.
