| 4 | | "Section 5. The Pharmacy Practice Act is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 45 as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 45. Pharmaceutical recall notice sign-up. |
| 8 | | (a) Upon dispensing a prescription, a pharmacist shall |
| 9 | | affix to the packaging for the filled prescription a notice |
| 10 | | that includes a QR code informing patients of the ability to |
| 11 | | sign up for medication recall notifications through the United |
| 12 | | States Food and Drug Administration website. |
| 13 | | (b) The Department may adopt rules necessary to implement |
| 14 | | this Section.
