| 1 | | AN ACT concerning local government.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the Taxing |
| 5 | | Body Debt and Convention Control Act.
|
| 6 | | Section 5. Legislative intent. It is the intent of the |
| 7 | | General Assembly that employees of taxing bodies may not attend |
| 8 | | conventions outside of the corporate boundaries of the taxing |
| 9 | | body or accept hospitality in an official capacity from any |
| 10 | | entity that is connected, directly or indirectly, with a debt |
| 11 | | financial firm or a debt underwriter.
