AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3222




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3222 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:


 
 
4    "Section 5. "AN ACT concerning civil law", approved August 
522, 2005, Public Act 94-653, is amended by changing Section 5 
6as follows:
 
7    (P.A. 94-653, Sec. 5)

8    Sec. 5. The Illinois Department of Human Services is hereby 
9authorized to grant and convey a permanent conservation 
10easement to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources or to 
11the Chicago Park District on a parcel containing 30 acres, more

12or less, that is located in Section 18, Township 40 North, 
13Range 13 East of the third principal meridian, Cook County, 
14Illinois, situated to the West and South of the Chicago Read 
15Mental Health Center, for the purpose of preserving and 
16protecting the wetlands and forested area for the benefit of

1the patients of the
facility, the community, and the general 
2public, this 30-acre parcel being more
particularly described 
3under Section 10 of this Act.
