| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 2-127.5 as follows:

| 6 | | (625 ILCS 5/2-127.5 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 2-127.5. Literacy and English as a second language |
| 8 | | classes. At Secretary of State Driver Service facilities, the |
| 9 | | Secretary shall provide a pamphlet or post information |
| 10 | | informing customers of the availability of literacy and English |
| 11 | | as a second language classes. The Secretary may satisfy this |
| 12 | | requirement by providing the Internet address of a |
| 13 | | not-for-profit entity offering this information.
