| 1 | | AN ACT concerning courts.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Juvenile Court Act of 1987 is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 1-18 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (705 ILCS 405/1-18)
|
| 7 | | Sec. 1-18. Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority |
| 8 | | Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts; report. The
|
| 9 | | Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority Administrative |
| 10 | | Office of the Illinois Courts shall study the fiscal impact
of |
| 11 | | the implementation of Public Act 100-285 upon probation |
| 12 | | departments. The Illinois Criminal Justice Information |
| 13 | | Authority may 90-590 (the Juvenile Justice Reform
Provisions of |
| 14 | | 1998) which is under its authority and submit a report of that
|
| 15 | | study to the General Assembly within 12 months after the |
| 16 | | enactment of this amendatory that
Act of the 100th General |
| 17 | | Assembly. The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority |
| 18 | | Administrative Office may, in addition to other requests, make |
| 19 | | a
request for funding of the implementation of that Act.
