Amends the School Code. Requires a school district to allow a student to possess and use a topical sunscreen product while on school property or at a school-related event or activity, regardless of the student possessing a note or prescription from a licensed health care professional. Effective immediately.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section |
| 5 | | 22-32 as follows: |
| 6 | | (105 ILCS 5/22-32 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 22-32. Student possession and use of sunscreen. A |
| 8 | | school district shall allow a student to possess and use a |
| 9 | | topical sunscreen product while on school property or at a |
| 10 | | school-related event or activity, regardless of the student |
| 11 | | possessing a note or prescription from a licensed health care |
| 12 | | professional.

| 13 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 14 | | becoming law.
