| 1 | | AN ACT concerning transportation.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Toll Highway Act is amended by changing |
| 5 | | Section 7.5 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (605 ILCS 10/7.5)

| 7 | | Sec. 7.5. Public comments at board meetings; notice. |
| 8 | | (a) The board of directors shall
set aside a portion of |
| 9 | | each meeting of the board that is open to the public
pursuant |
| 10 | | to the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, except as otherwise |
| 11 | | provided in this Section, during which members of the
public |
| 12 | | who are present at the meeting may comment on any subject. |
| 13 | | (b) An agenda for each meeting of the board shall be posted |
| 14 | | on the Authority's public website and at the headquarters |
| 15 | | building of the Authority at least 2 business days in advance |
| 16 | | of the holding of the meeting. Any agenda required under this |
| 17 | | Section shall set forth the general subject matter of any issue |
| 18 | | that will be the subject of final action at the meeting and |
| 19 | | shall include specific details concerning contracts for |
| 20 | | projects entered into under this Act involving amounts over |
| 21 | | $100,000 that may be approved at the meeting, along with an |
| 22 | | Internet link to such details provided on the agenda posted at |
| 23 | | the Authority's headquarters building.
