Section 2008.150  Qualifications for Early Childhood Assistants and School-age Worker Assistants

a)         Early childhood assistants shall meet the requirements of Section 2008.100, with the exception of subsection (b).

b)         Early childhood and school-age assistants shall have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate (GED).

c)         Early childhood assistants shall work under the direct supervision of an early childhood teacher or school-age worker and shall not assume full responsibility for a group of children, except as allowed by Section 2008.190(e)(2).

d)         School-age assistants shall work under the direct supervision of a school-age worker and shall not assume full responsibility for a group of children, except as allowed by Section 2008.90(e)(2).
