(30 ILCS 105/8q) (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2026) Sec. 8q. Illinois Department of Corrections Parole Division Offender Supervision Fund. (a) The Illinois Department of Corrections Parole Division Offender Supervision Fund is created as a special fund in the State treasury. (b) All moneys collected and payable to the Department of Corrections and deposited into the Illinois Department of Corrections Parole Division Offender Supervision Fund shall be appropriated to and administered by the Department of Corrections for operations and initiatives to combat and supervise paroled offenders in the community. (c) The Illinois Department of Corrections Parole Division Offender Supervision Fund shall not be subject to administrative chargebacks. (d) On July 1, 2025, or as soon thereafter as practical, the State Comptroller shall direct and the State Treasurer shall transfer the remaining balance from the Illinois Department of Corrections Parole Division Offender Supervision Fund into the Department of Corrections Reimbursement and Education Fund. Upon completion of the transfer, the Illinois Department of Corrections Parole Division Offender Supervision Fund is dissolved, and any future deposits due to that Fund and any outstanding obligations or liabilities of that Fund pass to the Department of Corrections Reimbursement and Education Fund.
