Amends the Illinois Renewable Fuels Development Program Act. Authorized the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to award, in excess of the annual aggregate grant total, up to $1,000,000 to a grant applicant who installs incorporating water recycling technology in the renewable fuels plant. Effective immediately.

| AN ACT concerning State government.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Illinois Renewable Fuels Development |
| 5 |
| Program Act is amended by changing Section 20 as follows: |
| 6 |
| (20 ILCS 689/20)
|
| 7 |
| Sec. 20. Grants. Subject to appropriation,
the
Director is |
| 8 |
| authorized to award grants to eligible applicants. The annual
|
| 9 |
| aggregate
amount of grants awarded shall not exceed |
| 10 |
| $20,000,000, except that this amount does not include amounts, |
| 11 |
| up to $1,000,000 per grant, that may be awarded to each |
| 12 |
| eligible applicant who installs incorporating water recycling |
| 13 |
| technology in the applicant's renewable fuels plant.

| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
