| AN ACT concerning alternative fuels.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the |
| 5 |
| Promote Illinois Ethanol and Biodiesel Act.
|
| 6 |
| Section 5. State agency webpage requirements. |
| 7 |
| (a) Each State agency that maintains an Internet website |
| 8 |
| may, subject to appropriation, include hypertext links to |
| 9 |
| websites containing information on ethanol and biodiesel |
| 10 |
| fuels. These hypertext links shall include any website |
| 11 |
| maintained and operated by a State agency that posts |
| 12 |
| information regarding E85 fuel or biodiesel fuel and may |
| 13 |
| include private websites including, but not limited to, |
| 14 |
| websites maintained and operated by: |
| 15 |
| (i) Illinois agricultural or health related |
| 16 |
| organizations; and |
| 17 |
| (ii) national agricultural, renewable fuel, or health |
| 18 |
| related organizations. |
| 19 |
| (b) For the purpose of this Act, "State agency" means any |
| 20 |
| department, office, commission, board, or authority within the |
| 21 |
| executive branch of State government, and includes |
| 22 |
| State-supported universities and colleges and the Illinois |
| 23 |
| Building Authority.
