| 1 | | AN ACT concerning State government.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Mental Health and Developmental |
| 5 | | Disabilities Administrative Act is amended by adding Section 76 |
| 6 | | as follows:
|
| 7 | | (20 ILCS 1705/76 new) |
| 8 | | Sec. 76. Mental health database and resource page. The |
| 9 | | Department shall create and maintain an online database and |
| 10 | | resource page on its website. The database and resource page |
| 11 | | shall contain mental health resources specifically geared |
| 12 | | toward school social workers, school counselors, parents, |
| 13 | | teachers, and school support personnel with the goal of |
| 14 | | connecting those people with mental health resources related to |
| 15 | | bullying and school shootings and encouraging information |
| 16 | | sharing among educational administrators, school security |
| 17 | | personnel, and school resource officers.

| 18 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 19 | | becoming law.
