HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Anthony "Tony" Yukich of 
4Evergreen Park, on the occasion of his 100th birthday on March 
517, 2017; and
  
 
  
6    WHEREAS, Anthony Yukich is affectionately known as "The 
7Godfather" and "The Dean Martin
of Evergreen Park"; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Anthony Yukich joined the United Home Owners in 
91960 and has served the Village of Evergreen Park for over 52 
10years; he was a village trustee from 1967 to 1979; Evergreen 
11Park dedicated "Yukich Field" in his honor; and
 
  
12    WHEREAS, Anthony Yukich was a  loving
husband to the late 
13Fran; father to Jim, Bill, and the late Bob;  father-in-law to 
14Joyce, Janet, and
Jeanne; grandfather to Tami and Mark, Jamie 
15and Alex, Bill and Zeture, Bob and Savuth,
Burt and Amy, and 
16Mike and Matt;  great-grandfather to Royce, Tyler, Morgan, 
17Ethan, Ava,
Dane, Ann, Louise, Samantha, Cameron, Courtney, 
18Jake, and Madelyn; and companion to
Ginny Wrobel; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Anthony Yukich is a friend and colleague; he 
20always has a twinkle in his eye, a smile on his face, and an 
21outstretched hand to help anyone in
need; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
2HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
3congratulate Anthony "Tony" Yukich on his 100th birthday, and 
4we wish him many more wonderful years; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to Anthony Yukich as a symbol of our respect and 
7esteem.
