Section 1250.170 Preparation Room Requirements
a) In accordance with Section 15-55 of the Code, each fixed place of practice or establishment devoted to the care and preparation for burial or for transportation of deceased human bodies shall maintain a preparation room properly equipped with necessary drainage, running water, electricity and ventilation facilities and containing instruments and supplies necessary for the preparation and embalming of deceased human bodies. c) A notice of privacy shall be affixed to or adjacent to the preparation room.
d) Preparation rooms shall be maintained in a sanitary condition with necessary drainage and proper ventilation as set forth in the Code.
e) Preparation rooms shall be available to the Division for inspection to determine compliance with the Code and this Part.
