SUBPART A: GENERAL PROVISIONS
Section 310.101 Applicability
a) This Section is intended as a general guide to persons using this Part 310 and does not supersede more specific requirements in this Part.
b) This Part includes the following:
1) Requirements for submission to the Agency of pretreatment programs by publicly owned treatment works (POTWs). (Subpart E)
2) Requirements with which persons discharging to sewers must comply. (Subpart B)
3) Requirements for prior approval by the Control Authority of certain discharges to a sewer. The Control Authority may be either of the following:
A) The POTW under an approved program; or
B) The Agency in the absence of an approved program. (Subpart D)
