AN ACT concerning State government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The State Treasurer Act is amended by changing Sections 11 and 14 as follows:

(15 ILCS 505/11) (from Ch. 130, par. 11)

Sec. 11. When any warrant is presented to the State Treasurer to be countersigned, he shall do so if the warrant is in proper form and there are sufficient moneys in the fund to pay the warrant. He shall also make a record of the date and , amount of each warrant and name of the person to whom the same is made payable.

Upon request for a wire or electronic transfer of funds pursuant to a warrant payable from the State treasury, the State Treasurer may impose upon and collect from the requesting payee a service charge covering all costs of such transfer.

Sec. 14.

He shall, at appropriate intervals but at least once each month at the close of each month, report to the State Comptroller the amount of money received and paid out by him during the time period month, stating on what account the same was received and paid; and shall, at appropriate intervals but at least once each month, report to deposit with the Comptroller all warrants, properly canceled, which he may have paid, and take the Comptroller's receipt for the same.
