| 1 | SENATE RESOLUTION | ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of Bill L. Entwistle of Easton, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on September 25, 2025; and | ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Bill Entwistle was born in Mason County to Loren | ||||||
| 6 | and Helen (Schulz) Entwistle on August 7, 1942; he graduated | ||||||
| 7 | from Easton High School in 1961 and served in the U.S. Army | ||||||
| 8 | from April 1964 until April 1966; he married Susan Moore in | ||||||
| 9 | Mason City on September 23, 1966; and | ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Bill Entwistle was a plant manager for CFS and | ||||||
| 11 | later F/S in Easton for several years; he farmed in the Easton | ||||||
| 12 | area from 1976 until his retirement in 2008; and | ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Bill Entwistle enjoyed restoring old tractors in | ||||||
| 14 | his retirement; and | ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Bill Entwistle was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 16 | parents and his brother, John Entwistle; and | ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Bill Entwistle is survived by his wife, Susan; | ||||||
| 18 | his children, James (Janell) and Michael Entwistle; his | ||||||
| 19 | grandchildren, Jared (Brooke), Emily, and Riley (Brittany) | ||||||
| 20 | Entwistle; his great-grandchildren, Max, Emersyn, Easton, and | ||||||
| |||||||
| |||||||
| 1 | Boston; and his sisters, Carol Murk and Linda (Mike) Coker; | ||||||
| 2 | therefore, be it | ||||||
| 3 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 4 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 5 | Bill L. Entwistle and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
| 6 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
| 7 | further | ||||||
| 8 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 9 | presented to the family of Bill Entwistle as an expression of | ||||||
| 10 | our deepest sympathy. | ||||||
