HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate the Nazareth Academy football team on its Class 5A state championship; and

WHEREAS, The Nazareth Academy football team has now won three back-to-back state championships, due in no small part to the work of Head Coach Tim Racki, who led the Roadrunners to their historic third straight championship; and

WHEREAS, Every player on the Nazareth Academy football team did their part to secure a decisive 29 to 27 victory at Hancock Stadium at Illinois State University in Normal in November of 2024; and

WHEREAS, Outstanding individual efforts by senior linebacker Gabe Kaminski and sophomore defensive end Chris Kasky were highlights of a strong team performance; and

WHEREAS, Nazareth Academy is the pride of La Grange Park and demonstrates that through hard work, grit, and the will to overcome adversity one can achieve anything; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the Nazareth Academy Roadrunners, their coaches, outstanding staff, and team parents for their impressive three time championship, and we wish them many more successful years on and off the field; and be it further

RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be presented to the players, families, and representatives of the Nazareth Academy Roadrunners football team as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
