| 1 | SENATE RESOLUTION | ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of Hunter Mitchell James of Virden, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on February 15, 2025; and | ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Hunter James, the son of Kyle James and Shelby | ||||||
| 6 | Stufflebeam, was born in Springfield on January 12, 2012; and | ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Hunter James was an eighth grade student at | ||||||
| 8 | Auburn Junior High School, where he was loved by his teachers | ||||||
| 9 | and peers; and | ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Hunter James loved playing baseball and Fortnite | ||||||
| 11 | online with his friends; and | ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Hunter James passed away alongside his father and | ||||||
| 13 | younger brother, Jacob James; and | ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Hunter James is survived by his mother; his | ||||||
| 15 | younger sister, Molly James; his maternal grandparents, | ||||||
| 16 | Barbara Stufflebeam and Chuck (Trina) McGraw; his paternal | ||||||
| 17 | grandmother, Jackie James; and several aunts, uncles, and | ||||||
| 18 | cousins; therefore, be it | ||||||
| 19 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL | ||||||

| 1 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 2 | Hunter Mitchell James and extend our sincere condolences to | ||||||
| 3 | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
| 4 | further | ||||||
| 5 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 6 | presented to the family of Hunter James as an expression of our | ||||||
