Former assistant chief of staff to the Governor; former administrator at Central Management Services, Department of Corrections, Department of Human Services; former director of community affairs for the Lieutenant Governor; trustee and deacon, St. Michael M.B. Church; member, Illinois Basketball Coaches Association; former member, Illinois Commission on Volunteerism and Community Service; B.S., criminal justice, A.A., business administration and sociology, Drury University; married (wife, Shindana), has two children (Cory Jr. and Jayla); resides in Bellwood.
