Biography: Born in Elmhurst, Senator Nybo is a lifelong resident of DuPage County. He graduated from Fenwick High School, Dartmouth College, and the University of Chicago Law School.
As a business attorney, he assists small and large companies on a variety of employment-related matters. In 2015, he was selected by Chicago Magazine as one of the youngest Illinois Super Lawyers in the employment practice area, an honor given to the top 5% of all attorneys in Illinois. Prior to his election to the legislature, he served on the Elmhurst City Council and the Elmhurst Board of Police and Fire Commissioners. He has been a member on the Board of the Ray Graham Association for People with Disabilities, is a soccer referee and coach with AYSO, and has been actively involved with the Knights of Columbus and Immaculate Conception Parish. His wife, Faye, and he live in Elmhurst with their three children: Connor, Olivia, and Allison.
