Biography: Former farmer and past owner of Forby Excavating, Inc. in Benton. Former member and chairman of the Franklin County board and former member of the Franklin-Williamson Human Services Board. He serves on the Southern Illinois Workforce Man-Tra-Con Board. He has been a member of the Operating Engineers and Laborers' International unions for 30 years. He and his wife, Angie, have four children.
