Biography: Nybo currently serves in the Illinois State Senate, where he is a Republican Whip, the Minority Spokesperson for the Executive and Financial Institutions Committees, and a member of the Energy, Revenue, Medicaid Managed Care, Gaming and Commerce Committees. Born in Elmhurst, he represents portions of Cook and DuPage County. He graduated from Fenwick High School, Dartmouth College, and the University of Chicago Law School. As a business attorney, he assists small and large companies on a variety of employment-related matters. From 2015 to 2017, he has been selected by Chicago Magazine as one of the youngest Illinois Super Lawyers, an honor given to the top 5% of all attorneys in Illinois. Prior to his election to the Senate, he served in the House of Representatives, the Elmhurst City Council, and the Board of the Ray Graham Association for People with Disabilities, and he is also an active support of the Truman Scholars Association. His wife, Faye, and he live in Elmhurst with their three children: Connor, Olivia, and Allison.
