AN ACT concerning government.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The State Designations Act is amended by adding |
Section 43 as follows:

(5 ILCS 460/43 new) |
Sec. 43. State wildflower. The plant Asclepias spp, |
commonly known as "Milkweed", is designated the official State |
wildflower of the State of Illinois.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
becoming law.
