COM COL-CHI-COMP BID CONTRACTS                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Public Community College Act. Requires  the  board  of      
   trustees  of  the Chicago community college district to let a contract      
   for supplies,  materials,  or  work  by  competitive  bidding  if  the      
   contract  involves  an  expenditure  in  excess of $10,000 (instead of      
   $5,000). Effective immediately.
