Provides that the definition of "all-terrain vehicle" includes only devices designed to travel primarily off highway and excludes equipment such as lawnmowers. Adds to the definition of "vehicle" any all-terrain vehicle or off-highway motorcycle purchased on or after January 1, 1998. Effective immediately. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Provides that "all-terrain vehicle" includes motorized off-highway devices weighing 900 pounds or less (rather than 600 pounds or less).
