Provides for an income tax deduction for taxable years ending on or after December 31, 2001 in an amount equal to any compensation paid to a resident for reserve duty in the Armed Forces of the United States or for any service as a member of the Illinois National Guard. Exempts the deduction from the sunset provisions. Effective immediately.
