SULLIVAN. 625 ILCS 5/11-605 from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 11-605 Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that a person who violates the posted speed limit in a construction or maintenance zone shall be charged a $50 fee in addition to the fine for the violation. Provides that the entire additional fee shall be paid to the Illinois Department of Transportation and used to pay police officers hired to patrol construction or maintenance zones.
