   SIEBEN.

   720 ILCS 5/24-3.4         from Ch. 38, par. 24-3.4                          

        Amends the Criminal Code of  1961.   Provides  that  the  statute      
   prohibiting  the sale or delivery by a liquor licensee of a firearm in      
   or on the real property of the establishment  where  the  licensee  is      
   licensed  does not apply when the licensed seller is primarily engaged      
   in the business of selling tangible personal property  at  retail  and      
   the  sale  or  delivery of the firearm is otherwise lawful.  Effective      
   immediately.                                                                
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
        Deletes everything. Amends the Criminal Code of 1961. Makes a          
   technical change in the Section prohibiting  a  liquor  licensee  from      
   selling a firearm in the licensed establishment.                            
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 2.                                                
        Deletes everything.  Amends the Criminal Code of 1961 relating to      
   the sale of firearms by a liquor licensee.  Permits  the  licensee  to      
   sell or deliver firearms if the licensee allows only off premise sales      
   of alcoholic liquor and those alcoholic liquor sales and firearm sales      
   each  account  for less than 15% of the sales of all tangible personal      
   property.  Effective immediately.
