SHAW. 430 ILCS 15/2 from Ch. 127 1/2, par. 154 Amends the Gasoline Storage Act. Provides that a municipality with a population greater than 1,000,000 may adopt and enforce ordinances and regulations more stringent than the rules and regulations of the Office of the State Fire Marshal with respect to the removal of underground storage tanks only. (Under current law, a municipality may not adopt rules and regulations regarding underground tanks unless they are identical with those adopted by the Office of the State Fire Marshal.)
