Allows a surviving spouse without dependents to begin receiving survivor's benefits before attaining age 50. Effective immediately. PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission) According to the System's actuary, SB410 would increase the accrued liability of SURS by $4.7 million. The increase in State contributions has not been calculated but is expected to be minor.
