MADIGAN,MJ-CURRIE-FEIGENHOLTZ-FRITCHEY-MENDOZA. 305 ILCS 5/5-1 from Ch. 23, par. 5-1 Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the purpose of the "medical assistance" Article of the Code. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Deletes reference to: 305 ILCS 5/5-1 Adds reference to: 305 ILCS 5/5-5.04 new Deletes everything. Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code. Provides that the Department of Public Aid must make reimbursement under the Medicaid program for services provided at a hospital-based organized clinic if (i) the hospital is a full-service acute care children's hospital devoted exclusively to pediatrics and does not share a Medicare provider number with an adult institution, (ii) the clinic is located within one mile of the hospital, and (iii) the services are otherwise eligible for reimbursement under the Code. Effective immediately.
