MITCHELL,BILL-SAVIANO.

   225 ILCS 446/80                                                             

        Amends the Private Detective, Private  Alarm,  Private  Security,      
   and  Locksmith  Act of 1993. Provides that, in lieu of the fingerprint      
   cards  currently  furnished  by   the   Department   of   Professional      
   Regulation,  the  applicant for a permanent employee registration card      
   shall have his or her fingerprints submitted  to  the  Illinois  State      
   Police  by  a  vendor  designated  by  the Department in an electronic      
   format  that  complies  with  the  Illinois  State  Police  Electronic      
   Fingerprint Submission Specification. Provides that these fingerprints      
   shall be checked against the Illinois State Police and Federal  Bureau      
   of  Investigation  criminal  history  record  databases.  Provides the      
   conditions under which an agency may employ a person  in  a  temporary      
   capacity.    Provides  that  scheduling  a person to work in an agency      
   before receiving the initial results  of  the  Illinois  State  Police      
   fingerprint check is a violation of the Act. Effective immediately.
