MCCARTHY. 105 ILCS 105/10 from Ch. 122, par. 1410 30 ILCS 805/8.26 new Amends the Asbestos Abatement Act. Provides that a person may not engage in the removal, enclosure, or encapsulation of asbestos containing material for a school unless the person is an asbestos abatement contractor on the Department of Public Health's list of asbestos abatement contractors or the person works for such a contractor. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Effective immediately.
