Provides that the information for the profiles shall be provided by insurers who provide medical malpractice insurance to licensed physicians. Requires the Department to post a disclaimer on its website. Limits the liability for the insurer, the Department, and any employee or agent of the insurer or Department. Effective immediately. FISCAL NOTE (Dept. of Professional Regulation) The end product with a total initial cost estimate of $818,000 and annual collection and maintenance cost of $150,000 will make physician profiles based on insurer claims available to the public over the Internet.
