LANG. 770 ILCS 60/1 from Ch. 82, par. 1 770 ILCS 60/21 from Ch. 82, par. 21 Amends the Mechanics Lien Act. Provides that a contractor or a sub-contractor who may impose a mechanics lien includes any person who leases equipment for purposes of construction on projects other than single or multi-family residences of less than 10 units under a common roof. Provides that the amount of the mechanics lien includes the amount due under the lease. Effective immediately.
