1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Elizabeth E. Shannon, who passed away on March 16, 2001;
5 and
6 WHEREAS, Elizabeth Shannon was a sales representative for
7 VALIC; and
8 WHEREAS, Elizabeth Shannon was formerly from Glenwood,
9 Illinois; she is survived and will be remembered by her
10 children, Mary (husband, Thomas Amenda) Shannon, Elizabeth
11 Shannon (husband, Daniel) Reedy, Margaret (husband, Dirk
12 Johnson) Shannon, and Catherine (husband, James Collins)
13 Shannon; her grandchildren, Amanda Harlan, Nora Johnson,
14 Henry Johnson, Katie Collins, and Danny Collins; her sister,
15 Catherine (husband, Sidney) Rosen; her brother, James Elkin;
16 and her many friends, nieces, nephews, and cousins;
17 therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
19 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
20 her family and friends, the passing of Elizabeth E. Shannon
21 of Chicago, Illinois; and be it further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to the family of Elizabeth Shannon.
