1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The Bolingbrook Park District and other local
3 organizations, in conjunction with the National Association
4 for the Education of Young Children, are celebrating the Week
5 of the Young Child, April 1 through 7, 2001; and
6 WHEREAS, By calling attention to the need for high
7 quality early childhood services for all children and
8 families within our community, these groups hope to improve
9 the quality and availability of such services; and
10 WHEREAS, The future of our community depends on the
11 quality of the early childhood experiences provided to young
12 children today; and
13 WHEREAS, High quality early childhood services represent
14 a worthy commitment to our children's future; therefore, be
15 it
16 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
17 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
18 we proclaim April 1 through 7, 2001 as the Week of the Young
19 Child in the State of Illinois, and urge all citizens to
20 recognize and support the needs of young children in
21 Bolingbrook and throughout the State of Illinois; and be it
22 further
23 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
24 presented to Becky Rheintgen, Recreation Supervisor of the
25 Bolingbrook Park District.
