1 AN ACT concerning appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The sum of $700,000,000, or so much thereof
5 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Road Fund to
6 the Department of Transportation for preliminary engineering
7 and construction engineering and contract costs of
8 construction for the I-355 South extension between I-55 at
9 Bolingbrook and I-80 at New Lenox.
10 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
11 July 1, 2002.
