1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5911
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 5911, on page 1,
3 line 5, after "20", by inserting "and by adding Section 25";
4 and
5 on page 4, immediately below line 32, by inserting the
6 following:
7 "(20 ILCS 3921/25 new)
8 Sec. 25. Illinois Century Network Special Purposes Fund.
9 There is hereby created the Illinois Century Network Special
10 Purposes Fund within the State treasury. Deposits into the
11 Fund shall include but not be limited to any funds
12 appropriated to State agencies for the operation of the
13 Network, funds collected as reimbursements, fees for network
14 partnerships, and federal funds. Deposits into the Fund
15 shall include any gifts, grants, or donations received by the
16 network from any public or private organization including
17 State and federal agencies. Earnings attributable to moneys
18 in the Illinois Century Network Special Purposes Fund shall
19 be deposited into the Fund. Subject to appropriation, all
20 moneys within the fund shall be expended for the operation of
21 the Illinois Century Network, including building and
22 maintaining the Network and its supporting connections.

1 Section 10. The State Finance Act is amended by adding
2 Section 5.570 as follows:
3 (30 ILCS 105/5.570 new)
4 Sec. 5.570. The Illinois Century Network Special
5 Purposes Fund.".
