1 AN ACT concerning energy conservation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Energy Conservation and Coal Development
5 Act is amended by changing Section 12 as follows:
6 (20 ILCS 1105/12) (from Ch. 96 1/2, par. 7412)
7 Sec. 12. The Department may take whatever actions are
8 necessary or appropriate to protect the State's interest in
9 the event of default, foreclosure, or noncompliance with the
10 terms and conditions of the loans or grants provided under
11 the Illinois Industrial Coal Utilization Program, including
12 the power to sell, dispose, lease, or rent, upon terms and
13 conditions deemed to be appropriate by the Department, real
14 or personal property that which the Department may receive as
15 a result thereof.
