1 AN ACT concerning transportation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is
5 amended by adding Section 2705-455 as follows:
6 (20 ILCS 2705/2705-455 new)
7 Sec. 2705-455. Lakefront Transportation Grant. Subject
8 to appropriation, the Department of Transportation shall make
9 a matching grant to the City of Chicago to begin
10 implementation of the City's Lakefront Transportation Plan
11 along Lake Shore Drive with an extension north to Fullerton
12 Avenue.
13 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
14 becoming law.
